Leeds United: talkSPORT pundit reacts to Dan James footage emerging
Dean Saunders responded to video of Leeds United attacker Dan James that surfaced this week following Wales’ loss to Poland.
In order to go to EURO 2024, the two sides had to go to penalties. The Polish team prevailed, and James missed the game-winning penalty kick that would have eliminated his country.
Without condemning the assailant, Saunders concedes that it will be unfortunate for him, but he also says that he must accept this fact.
On March 26 at 10:41 p.m., Saunders made a live statement on talkSPORT, saying, “Poor Dan James.” This is what he will have to wake up to. How unfortunate. James, what a nice boy he is.

James will surely have a hard time getting over his missed penalty that prevented Wales from qualifying; given the significance of the event, it may even haunt him for some time.
In spite of this setback, though, the 26-year-old will take comfort in the steadfast backing of Leeds and Wales supporters.
He is still a gifted player with a bright career in front of him despite the setback.
James will probably have the support of Wales supporters, who know that losses are a part of the game. Leeds supporters will do the same, knowing that James has the ability to recover and help the team.
The best thing for James to do is to admit his dissatisfaction without giving it much thought.

Being able to play on both wings as a winger and full-back, as well as in central midfield, has made him one of the most versatile players in English football.
The 32-year-old made his final appearance for Northern Ireland in March 2022 after 62 games played and three goals scored.
His Leeds teammates, who defeated Millwall in last game, are leading the Championship and are fighting for promotion back to the Premier League (17 March).
On Friday, March 29, the Whites will play their next game against Watford.
