It remains to be seen if the manager will find that appropriate in the near future, but given Pascal Struijk’s injury, he will not permit players to depart in January. Players that are helpful to him and who he values will not be allowed to leave.”
“They have a strong squad when you consider the players, their size, and the bench. How come you would lessen that? There’s no justification for letting players go in January unless you plan to add new ones, particularly when you have injuries to your roster like Charlie Cresswell”
From the perspectives of Farke and Leeds United, it makes perfect sense to keep a player like Cresswell in the starting lineup and, possibly, to give him additional opportunities to contribute.
However, the young player believes that his development is stagnating at the moment after playing a lot at The Den last season, so some regular games elsewhere might be more crucial than ancillary involvement in a promotion push.
