Revealed: Tottenham docs show Daniel Levy is ahead of all other directors in one area
According to insider source, the chairman of Tottenham, Daniel Levy, earns the most money among Premier League executives.
Levy receives a salary of £3.3 million annually, according to the most recent finances for Spurs for the years 2021–2022, which is on par with that of many of the team’s first-team players.
Paul Barber of Brighton, who earns over £2.9 million annually, comes in second with a salary that is more than that of any other director in the top division.
Ferran Soriano, the CEO of Man City, is likely to earn a hefty salary at the Etihad Stadium, but the only Premier League club to withhold director pay information was the treble-winning team from the previous season.
Levy has been with Tottenham since ENIC acquired its initial ownership part in the North London club in 2000.
Following the investment, he joined the board, and a year after taking over for Alan Sugar, he became the league’s youngest-ever chairman.
Levy had also served as a director at Rangers prior to 2004, when ENIC acquired a sizeable portion of the Scottish team.
But for the past 19 years, he has given Tottenham his full focus, and during that time, the team’s revenue has increased significantly.
Levy was also in charge of the club’s 2019 transition from White Hart Lane to the brand-new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
With an operational income of £340 million over the previous three years, Tottenham was voted the Premier League’s most profitable team for 2023.
Tottenham, despite their commercial off-field success, have only won one League Cup under Levy’s leadership.

The former Celtic manager always seems to say the appropriate thing. He just seems to be the ideal candidate for the position—someone who actually cares about the Tottenham project, the club, and the fans.
He doesn’t appear to be the type of manager who gives up when success doesn’t arrive right away. He practices offensive, free-flowing football, and it seems to succeed everywhere he goes. Who are we to doubt it, then?
His strategies, statements, convictions, and training regimen can all support our claim to the title. Still, he could always use support. In January, Daniel Levy should be prepared to fund a few signings if he is pleased with the work he is doing.
