Potter has proven to be an extremely talented coach throughout the years, but he has been restrained since joining West Ham.
The head coach is convinced by the idea the board has given, despite the fact that this season has been, at best, stagnant. He turned down other jobs between his time at Chelsea and his return to London with the Irons.
