Leeds United declined to comment on rumours that they were thinking about replacing Farke before the upcoming season when approached by LeedsLive.
For the remainder of current season, the team insists that they are “fully focussing on winning the title.”
In his assessment of Mourinho’s chances of succeeding at Leeds, talkSPORT analyst Darren Bent believes Farke may soon have difficulties at Elland Road.
“Scott Parker is doing just great. His actions are astounding. They’ll be alright, Chris Wilder, if they go up. They finished tenth in the Premier League, thus Wilder has a strong track record. Bent stated on talkSPORT, “I’m not sure, but Farke is the one I’m thinking of.”
“He’s done great things with Norwich. Farke has every right to say, I’ve just got Leeds promoted. I deserve a go. But if things go wrong, he [Farke] might get 10 games, whereas Wilder and Parker get 20 games.”
Bent also believes that the so-called “Special One” might be enticed by the possibility of establishing the Whites in the Premier League. “Jose [Mourinho] might look at that and go, because there’s so much about Leeds. They’ve got this character and perception where everyone hates us. It feels like a match made in heaven,” Bent added.

Bent also thinks the prospect of establishing the Whites in the Premier League may lure the so-called “Special One.” Given the amount of information about Leeds, Jose [Mourinho] might have a look at that and go. Because of their personality and perception, we are despised by everyone. According to Bent, it’s like a match made in heaven.
It is also disclosed that offers are now anticipated from within England, and a surprise move to a Championship new-boy may now be on the cards, as a new custodian is high on Leeds’ wanted list and Illan Meslier’s future is unknown.
