Erling Haaland’s reaction to Leeds United’s Premier League promotion
Haaland, a striker for Man City, is known to have a soft spot for the Whites.
After growing up in Yorkshire and watching his father, Alf-Inge, play at Elland Road, the Norwegian has made it apparent that he is a Leeds supporter.
Haaland has been keeping an eye on Leeds all season and is excited to watch how this Championship campaign turns out.
Naturally, Ethan Ampadu wants to defeat Burnley in the league, so the title is still up for grabs.
On Instagram, though, the City forward has expressed his actual feelings.
The Norwegian may have been expressing that his prayers for the Whites to return have been answered when he commented two clapping emojis and a praying emoji on Leeds’ Instagram post on their coming up.
How Haaland feels about playing for Leeds one day
Haaland can now see his boyhood team again because the Whites have returned to the Premier League.
The 24-year-old will undoubtedly keep a close eye on it when the schedule is revealed because it will be an event that supporters eagerly await.
The striker has made it plain that he intends to come to Yorkshire because Haland wants to play for Leeds.
This is hardly surprising given his past performances, but this opportunity may be lost because of Haland’s City contract, which runs through 2034.
One thing is certain, though: Haaland adores Leeds. Stranger things have happened, but who knows?
