Leeds United ready £30m bid to re-sign Kalvin Phillips after West Ham fan incident at Newcastle
The Sunday Mirror reports that Leeds United is prepared to offer £30 million to re-sign Kalvin Phillips if they are promoted to the Premier League.
The publication stated on page 65 of their print edition on March 31 that the Whites will attempt to sign the 28-year-old for a fee of £12 million less than what they were offered by Manchester City when he transferred from Elland Road to the Etihad in 2022.
West Ham, who are unlikely to buy the England international permanently at the end of the season, is presently paying Phillips a terrible loan.

Paul Robinson called the midfielder at Elland Road “world-class” in 2021 after seeing him perform well there. That same year, Robinson also contributed significantly to England’s run to the final of the European Championships.
In all competitions, Phillips appeared in over 230 games for the Whites; however, after departing nearly two years ago, he has appeared in just 40 games overall.
He has been nothing more than a bench warmer at Man City, and his play at West Ham has incited the wrath of the supporters, who engaged the midfielder in an argument as he boarded the team bus following the 4-3 loss to Newcastle on Saturday, March 30.
