Leeds United will be without a number of key players when they play Hull City at Elland Road on Monday night due to the West Yorkshire team’s ongoing injury woes.
After his less than ideal pre-match preparations, manager Daniel Farke said Friday night’s 2-2 tie at Watford that he was relieved to survive the encounter. However, he also noted that things are unlikely to get much better before the 8 p.m. match played under the lights.
Ilia Gruev is questionable after missing the draw at Vicarage Road due to an ankle injury, and Georginio Rutter is making a comeback from hernia surgery during this time. Willy Gnonto (hamstring) and Connor Roberts (thigh) are also out for the next three weeks, joining Stuart Dallas and Pascal Struijk on the sidelines.
