Done Deal: Midfielder wanted by five European clubs has signed for Tottenham

A major turning point in the football career of emerging sensation Callum Olusesi was reached when Tottenham, as part of their ongoing commitment to developing young talent, gave him a professional contract.

Ange Postecoglou has brought a lot of young youngsters into the senior Spurs group.

Recently, opportunities to practice alongside the first team were extended to Ashley Phillips, Alfie Dorrington, Alejo Veliz, Jamie Donley, and Mikey Moore as they made the move from the young side.

Another rookie, Pape Matar Sarr, has made a name for himself in the first squad this year and is quickly becoming one of Ange Postecoglou’s most vital players.

Tottenham hand Callum Olusesi a professional contract

Olusesi has officially signed his first professional contract with the club, as confirmed by the official announcement made on the club’s website.

The notice at the club said:

“We are happy to announce that Callum Olusesi has committed to the club on a professional contract for the first time.”

“After joining us on a full-time basis last summer, the 17-year-old central midfielder has continued to be a key figure in that age group this season. He featured regularly for our Under-18s in 2022/23 while still a schoolboy.”

Callum Olusesi has been impressing at the academy

In Tottenham’s academy, Callum Olusesi has already advanced to a very high level and shown his skill in teams for the U17, U18, and U19 age groups.

With eight goals and four assists in 18 games across all competitions this season, the teenager has been a standout player for Spurs’ U18 team.

Europe was interested in him because of his outstanding exploits; Romeo recently said that five European teams were after him last summer. He appears to have rejected them all, though, and agreed to a professional contract with Tottenham.

Olusesi’s signing is a big step forward for the club and the player, even though he might not be ready for first team action right away.

Nurturing players like Olusesi creates a solid basis for continued success in the years to come as Tottenham looks to the future. In related news

Noni Madueke says player Tottenham sold last year is even better than Trent Alexander-Arnold

Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool is ranked lower by Noni Madueke, who seems to be a huge fan of the player that Tottenham Hotspur sold last year.

Ange Postecoglou has completely changed Spurs as a team. The Australian deserves a tonne of credit for his outstanding performance since taking over before the current season began.

This season, Tottenham has adopted a whole new footballing philosophy. They were a dull, defensive team under Antonio Conte’s leadership.

In the Premier League, though, Postecoglou has turned them into one of the most thrilling teams.

This is what makes Spurs such a fun team to play for, and some of the players who departed at the end of the previous season could now be wishing they had stayed.

Noni Madueke ranks former Tottenham player higher than Trent Alexander-Arnold

Over the years, Tottenham’s roster has included several excellent players.

Spurs have occasionally been on the verge of taking home trophies, but they’ve never been able to cross the finish line for whatever reason.

Although the North Londoners will also not win anything this season, things most likely would have been different had they kept one player who left last summer.
