Tottenham Hotspur star pushes referee over in intense 0-0 friendly draw vs Switzerland
Tottenham ace Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg pushes referee in a bizarre incident.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, a midfielder for Tottenham and a standout for Denmark, shoved the referee during Denmark’s draw with Switzerland. It was a rather strange episode that is currently making headlines in the game industry.

Hojbjerg seemed irritated that the referee was obstructing his path to the ball. Then he pushed Allard Lindhout off his feet. As to a report by the Daily Mail UK, he managed to escape from the incident without any injuries.
The Danish star played 84 minutes in the friendly encounter against Switzerland, but he failed to score any goals, which sparked a heated argument with the referee. He was also playing alongside Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund of Manchester United.
Supporters attempted to determine if the action was appropriate or illegal. Many people said that if Hojbjerg had done anything similar in the Premier League, he would have been sent off with a red card.
However, a lot of users could relate to his frustrations. They also praised his aggressive gameplay, stating that he was just interested in winning and that his actions were driven by the team’s goals.

Denmark will play again on Tuesday. Hojbjerg should hopefully avoid pushing anyone else and return to the N17 unharmed.
