‘Good news arrives’ – Medical boost for Leeds United man as he’s released from clinic care
Diego Llorente, a defender for Leeds United, suffered an injury on Thursday night for Roma, but he has already been released from the hospital, so any Leeds United supporters who were concerned about him may now relax.
The defender was forced to leave the ground after taking a hard blow to the head during Roma’s match against Feyenoord. La Roma 24, who are citing information from Sky Italy, report that “good news arrives” for the victim.
After the fight, which left Llorente with a serious head wound, reports from earlier today stated that the player, who is on loan at Roma from Leeds this season, had to spend the night in the hospital.
Though he was kept under observation throughout the night and the injury did not seem to be serious, it did seem doubtful that he would play in Roma’s upcoming match.
Now, according to La Roma 24, the Spaniard spent the night at Villa Stuart and had a CT scan, the results of which were negative, indicating that everything was in order.
His condition is satisfactory, therefore he was able to leave the Roman clinic early this afternoon. It’s unclear, though, how much of an impact he will have when Roma plays Torino on Monday.
The good news is that the collision did not do him any long-term harm, something Leeds supporters will undoubtedly be happy to hear.

The midfield will be a highly important area, in my opinion. Dewsbury-Hall’s ability to go beyond the defence and the last man will test Leeds’ defence, and Leeds will need to be able to monitor him. Joe Rodon will need to play at an extremely high level.
Leeds need to stay solid at the back
This season, Rodon has been a vital member of Daniel Farke’s Leeds team, and this is an important game for him personally. This season, the 26-year-old, who came on loan from Tottenham, has been nothing short of extraordinary, and his performances will be keenly watched in this tantalising Championship match.
Leeds wants to sign the Welshman long-term, and if they go back to the Premier League, they will have a better chance of doing so. Football London claims that Rodon will have plenty of offers regardless of whether Leeds wins promotion at the end of the campaign.

Prutton is quite right when he says that the Whites need the center-back, who has been a monster at the back for Leeds this season, to be at the top of his game against Leicester City.
