‘I’M REALLY HAPPY FOR HIM…’ JESSE MARSCH SAYS HE’S DELIGHTED DANIEL FARKE IS PICKING VERSATILE LEEDS STAR

As Leeds United looks to return to the Premier League, Jesse Marsch has revealed that he is still monitoring the team.

At this same time last year, the American had recently lost his job at Elland Road, which didn’t really make a difference because the team collapsed and was demoted to the Championship.

Daniel Farke had a lot of mess to clean up, but so far, he’s done an incredible job, as Leeds United are now sitting in the automatic spots in the Championship table.

Highly regarded rookie Archie Gray is one player who has been a bright spot for the team.

Jesse Marsch told Sky Sports News on February 19 at 5:55 p.m. that he is “really happy” that the 17-year-old is finally getting playing time since he is a “good young talent.”

The Leeds United academy graduate, who is normally a midfielder, has been playing right-back for a few months now, and he is making a respectable job of it.

This is a player who was first brought onto the scene by Marcelo Bielsa, before Jesse Marsch got to see him first-hand and now he is cooking under Daniel Farke.

Archie Gray at Leeds United

“Yes, I have,” Marsch said in response to the question of whether he had followed Leeds United’s performance.

They are doing a great job at football. It’s encouraging to see so many of the young guys who were just getting started while I was there playing well.

“It’s encouraging to see Archie Gray blossom into a promising young player. I’m overjoyed for him. They currently appear to be on a course to return to the Premier League, in my opinion.

Will Leeds United earn promotion back to the Premier League?

Leeds simply don’t work well in the playoffs, so if they want to make that comeback, they need to make sure they secure that final automatic spot.

Everyone will recall the unfortunate outcome of their previous encounter with that situation, even if they went on to win the Championship the following year.

Leeds will undoubtedly be under a lot of strain and scrutiny if they advance through the play-offs, regardless of who else is involved.

Since they don’t have scars and are playing brave football, maybe these young guns, like Crysencio Summerville, can benefit from it.
