Hi, what are you looking for?

Leeds United

Leeds star could easily have said he want to leave after what happen<<<<<

According to Bamford’s own admission on the My Mate’s a Footballer podcast (February 8), he had to have security at his house when irate Leeds supporters paid him a visit after missing the opportunity.

Speaking on Monday, February 12th, Hay stated on The Square Ball podcast: “Now that he’s healthy and able to play through games, he’s making a difference and has turned into an asset.”

“What went on at the end of last season, you could have easily seen that developing into a situation where Bamford says he feels like he needs to leave.

“I think Leeds fans will be pretty happy he didn’t because he is proving to be an asset again. If they do go up, he’ll have played a part in that.”

Patrick Bamford revitalised at Leeds United

Under Daniel Farke, the Leeds forward has experienced his first real slump and has been on the rise ever since being handed a chance in the New Year. So far this season, he has contributed seven goals in all competitions.

The 30-year-old had a difficult start to the season as Georginio Rutter and Joel Piroe were chosen over him in attack, and he missed multiple opportunities as a substitute.

But after notching his first goal of the season on New Year’s Day against Birmingham City, Bamford was in full flow as he scored an outrageous attempt against Peterborough United in the FA Cup, which has spurred him on.

Leeds United
This season, Patrick Bamford has four goals in the championship.

The Leeds forward has improved his play, but he still deserves a lot more credit than he got early in the campaign.

Although it would have been quite reasonable for Bamford to leave Elland Road following his altercation with the supporters, he proves to be the stronger man by remaining and winning their respect.

You can see how eager he is to reach that height once more, having already gained promotion to the Premier League with his beloved Leeds along with players like Stuart Dallas, Luke Ayling, and Liam Cooper.
