Leeds eyeing move to sign new full-back with same agent as Bamford

The Whites, like many other English football teams, have had a quiet month as they potentially get ready for a late rush of activity at Elland Road.
In an interview, Daniel Farke discussed the challenges he had in persuading players to transfer in the middle of the season. He also gave supporters the assurance that any new players would be added strategically rather than merely to increase the team’s size.
In order to replace Illan Meslier, Leeds United “may make an offer” for “superman.”
If both moves go through, he might start right away.
“It’s more difficult [to add experienced players]. Sometimes some young players are allowed to go out on loan, for example, but I also got the feeling it doesn’t make sense just to bring numbers in or a young player who has not played in the last six months. Over the past few weeks, full-back has grown in importance at Elland Road. Rangers defender Borna Barisic and left-back Ryan Giles of Lincoln Town are reportedly on the transfer wishlist of Farke and the 49r Enterprises, who want to add a backup to play alongside Sam Byram and Junior Firpo on the left side of their defence. They have both been identified as targets.
The Whites are now keeping an eye on another Premier League defender after learning that Real Betis and Villarreal are showing interest in West Ham United’s Ben Johnson.
Leeds United eyeing Ben Davies move…
The Athletic’s Phil Hay reports that Leeds United is interested in a deal to capture Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies for a temporary loan that will last the rest of the season.

However, it is considered extremely improbable that the Wales international will be allowed to depart from the Lilywhites this month, and any transfer would probably require a significant change to the N17 team. Hay presented Leeds United with a four-man shortlist of potential full-backs, which includes the previously mentioned Johnson, Connor Roberts, and Neco Williams.
Described by Antonio Conte as a “reliable player,” the 30-year-old has made 16 appearances in all competitions for Spurs this season, scoring one goal against Brighton & Hove Albion (Davies statistics – Transfermarkt).
With the same agent as Patrick Bamford, Davies is a versatile player who has made a name for himself in the Premier League. He can play both central defence and on the left, and Leeds United may find him to be a valuable addition. In light of this, it seems unlikely that he will move to Elland Road, thus Farke and the 49ers could have to focus elsewhere in the closing parts of the window.
