‘Top target’ not happy with his current situation and ‘willing to accept an offer’ in January

Richarlison of Tottenham Hotspur is allegedly thinking about leaving the team, according to Brazilian publication UOL.

According to sources, the Brazilian striker is a “top target” for Al-Hilal and has recently been linked to a move to Saudi Arabia.

After selling Harry Kane to Bayern Munich during the summer transfer season, Tottenham turned down late Saudi interest.

However, they plan to make another move in January to test the waters.

According to earlier rumours, Richarlison was “determined to remain” with the team despite the opportunities that coming to the Middle East would present.

On the other hand, UOL columnist Rafael Reis offers a different story.

According to his report (seen on Sport Witness), the 26-year-old is “willing to accept an offer” to change his surroundings and is not “attached” to Tottenham at the moment because of his circumstances.

According to the report’s additional details, Richarlison does not anticipate a favourable improvement at Spurs “in the coming months.”

Following his summer transfer from Everton, the Brazilian attacker has found it difficult to establish a meaningful presence at Tottenham.

Furthermore, despite hopes for a turnaround under Ange Postecoglou, Richarlison’s has unable to produce results on a regular basis.

TBH states:

However, the club is now limited in attacking alternatives (Son, Johnson, and Kulusevski are the only realistic possibilities), so his departure could put them in a precarious situation, especially with Son slated to miss the Asian Cup in January.

It is unclear if Tottenham will decide to trade Richarlison during the next transfer window, but if they do, it might provide them the opportunity to consider strengthening their striking lineup.

Tottenham keen on €100m-rated Brazilian after scouting him earlier this month

According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur is interested in acquiring Benfica defender Morato in the January transfer window.

Tottenham reportedly has a short list of defenders they are hoping to recruit, and Morato is one of the names on their want list, according to a report from the Portuguese daily Record via SportWitness.

The 22-year-old has contributed significantly to Benfica’s success this year, and the Portuguese team is reluctant to let him go halfway through the campaign. Benfica is under no obligation to sell the 22-year-old since his contract includes a €100 million release clause.

It would be necessary for any club wishing to sign him in January to activate his release clause, and it seems unlikely that Tottenham will shell out that much money for an inexperienced player. Despite being a gifted young player with promise, Morato has not lived up to the €100 million price tag, and Newcastle will only sign him if he is offered a lower contract.

It seems that during the summer transfer window, teams like Nottingham Forest and Fulham were eager to sign the defender and made offers of between €25 and €30 million.

In addition to being a left-back, the 22-year-old can play central defence. In the Lisbon Derby earlier this month, Tottenham scouted him; it will be intriguing to see if they want to make an offer to test the waters.

Spurs’ top priority in January should be to buy a central defender as Micky van de Ven is currently out due to injury.
