Club insiders are ‘convinced’ Spurs are ‘lining up a bid’ for striker with 68 goals and 21 assists
Chelsea believes Tottenham will make an offer for Brentford attacker Ivan Toney, according to The Sun.
In the next transfer window, Tottenham, Chelsea, and Arsenal are all interested in signing the England striker.
serving a ban that was put in place by the FA because of allegations relating to betting, but it expires in January.

While he serves the final few weeks of his suspension, he has resumed training with Brentford, but the elite players in the Premier League are considering a move for him.
A move would also excite the gamer. Jack Grealish, Eduardo Camavinga, and former Tottenham player Gareth Bale are just a few of the greatest stars in football that Toney has represented since changing agencies recently. He now works with CAA Stellar agency.
Romano asserts that a sum of about £65 million might complete a deal, despite Brentford manager Thomas Frank’s prior insistence that the striker is not for sale unless a proposal of more than £100 million is made.
In August, Harry Kane departed Spurs to join Bayern Munich, and the team is currently searching for a straight replacement. In addition, the story says that Spurs are “lining up a bid” for him because “insiders” at Chelsea are “convinced” of this.
This is in spite of recent rumours indicating that Spurs have shifted their attention from Toney to Raphinha of Barcelona.
He moved to The Bees from Peterborough in 2020, and in 123 games, he has helped 21 goals and scored 68 goals for them in all competitions.
Says TBH:
It is unclear if Tottenham will pay more than £65 million for Toney. They did invest that much money in Richarlison during the previous summer, but thus far, it has not been a wise decision.
In the summer, they also paid £47.5 million for Brennan Johnson. It is unclear if they will make a significant purchase on a striker once more.
