Tottenham receive positive news as Serie A giants ‘willing to sell star’ in January window

Tottenham are expected to splash the cash in the January transfer window, with new arrivals anticipated at both ends of the pitch.

Tottenham has received a major transfer boost as it was discovered that Juventus is considering parting ways with Samuel Iling-Junior in January. Spurs want to make a major transfer window purchase to strengthen their forward ranks because Ange Postecoglou’s growing list of absences is making it harder for him to choose a starting lineup.

The Tottenham team has gained increased vigour under the former Celtic manager, who has also pushed them to go outside of their comfort zone in order to become an offensive, powerful one. Postecoglou’s club has won eight of its first twelve games, and they are presently fourth in the Premier League as a result of his bold changes.

But injuries are jeopardising Spurs’ prospects for what appears to be a big season. Because James Maddison, Richarlison, and Micky van de Ven are presently out with injuries, it is evident that Tottenham is in dire need of depth in their roster.

The focus in north London has shifted to attacking reinforcements as a number of defenders, including Lloyd Kelly of Bournemouth and Marc Guehi of Crystal Palace, have been mentioned as possible targets.

Samuel Iling-Junior is struggling for minutes with Juventus

Juve winger Iling-Junior is one of the players that has been connected to Tottenham in an attempt to cover their front line, and the 20-year-old would be a good fit. Bianconera News claims that the Old Lady is “heavily considering” selling the Englishman and giving him the opportunity to succeed somewhere else.

Iling-Junior has played 113 minutes of Serie A football thus far this season, making just four substitution appearances under manager Massimiliano Allegri. Juventus is considering whether a sale would be the wisest course of action for all parties because they are aware that the forward is being held back by his restricted playing time.

Ange Postecoglou
Ange Postecoglou is excited to add more forwards to his team. Iling-Junior is rumoured to have the “opportunity” to find a new club and properly present himself in the shop window to tempt a move during the January transfer window. Spurs have been touted as a possible destination for the player. Tottenham’s approach is apparently inspiring to young players around Europe, who see the club’s resurgence under Postecoglou as a “ambitious project.”
Iling-Junior’s contract with Juventus expires in2025, thus the club is eager to decide whether to sign the former Chelsea academy star during the January transfer window. As the versatile forward approaches the last 12 months of his contract with the Serie A team in the summer, his transfer worth will drastically decrease.
