It’s challenging for a defender to quickly pick up how to play as an inverted full-back and drift into attacking areas the way he does.
He has already contributed two assists from advanced areas, and given that he has eight goals in the last two seasons, it wouldn’t be unexpected to see him score soon.
Udogie’s stance against Fulham may have startled McCoist, but Spurs fans are accustomed to seeing him spring up near the top of the pitch.
