Tottenham ready to sign ‘fantastic’ player in January after just missing out on deadline day
Additionally, Trevoh Chalobah of Chelsea is reportedly available for purchase by Tottenham, according to Calciomercato.
Tottenham want to sign Trevoh Chalobah in January
Prior to the start of the winter transfer market in a few months, the Chelsea defender is attracting a lot of interest, according to Calciomercato.
While clubs like Roma and Juventus are interested, it is noted that Spurs are still very much in the running and would be willing to purchase Chalobah in January, if he is healthy.
It’s interesting to note that Spurs attempted to acquire Chalobah on the deadline day but ran out of time.
There is speculation that the Blues might be open to a trade for Chalobah if the price was right. Chalobah is yet to make an appearance under Mauricio Pochettino.
Chalobah might be let go from The Bridge for a sum of almost £30 million.
Chalobah could shine at Spurs
It’s a little strange that Chalobah hasn’t really been given the opportunity to perform under Pochettino in a team full of young players.
He formerly gave off such a good impression, and it’s obvious that something has gone wrong as a result of which the young defender has fallen significantly in the hierarchy of importance.
The “fantastic” Chalobah is still alive, nevertheless. It would be a significant step for him to join a club like Tottenham, and given how well things have gone for Postecoglou so far, there is every reason to think the Chelsea player would flourish there as well.
Certainly, that would be a wise signing, and you can guess that Spurs supporters would be delighted to see it happen.
