‘Impressed’: Alan Shearer blown away by what one Liverpool man said after Tottenham game this weekend Rousing

The analyst complimented the Anfield manager on how he handled Saturday’s storm when speaking on The Rest is Football. Klopp was complimentary of the entire affair.

Shearer stated, “I thought Jurgen spoke really well after the game you know,” in reference to Klopp’s remarks following Liverpool’s defeat to Tottenham.

“You could only image how enraged and fuming he was. You can see him heading to the locker room, but in my opinion, he spoke nicely after the game and truly kept his mouth shut.

And he’ll definitely have more support for that than if he publicly criticizes everyone, the VAR, and everything else. After the game, I was impressed with him because I thought he was so measured.

Klopp should have been harsher after Liverpool injustice

Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool FC - Premier League

The manager of Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp, is not afraid to express his opinions, and he could have easily screamed for hours about what transpired on Saturday.

The German coach has lost his cool over numerous Liverpool situations in the past, but Klopp spoke nicely this past weekend about the injustice the Reds received.

It’s understandable that people like Shearer are impressed with what they’ve heard from the Anfield manager since Klopp talked with honesty and passion.

The 24-year-old player made his comeback against Tottenham at the weekend after missing several weeks due to injury.

Jurgen Klopp has helped Alexander-Arnold, one of the most inventive fullbacks in the world, win every major championship.

The Three Lions player has already contributed more assists to the Premier League than illustrious playmakers Mesut Ozil and Eden Hazard combined.

In the league last year, he contributed 9 assists and 2 goals, but the 20-cap international struggled mightily on defense.

Do you think Trent Alexander-Arnold deserves to sign a lucrative new contract worth more than £55 million?
