Tim Sherwood says Daniel Farke ‘got it all wrong’ after what he did during Leeds United vs West Ham
Despite Leeds United’s 2-1 victory over West Ham, former Premier League footballer Tim Sherwood has criticized manager Daniel Farke.
After 15 minutes, Daniel Farke’s Leeds team jumped out to an early lead over the Hammers, sending him into a state of bliss. His management praised Brenden Aaronson for his goal-scoring performance. Joe Rodon, Leeds’ other goal scorer and a defensive powerhouse, supported this.

Sherwood, a former Premier League player, has now criticized Leeds for allowing West Ham to re-enter the game even though they managed to secure a much-needed victory.

Sherwood criticized Leeds’ handling of the game after they took the lead in an interview with Premier League Productions.
Fortunately for the Whites, Lucas Paqueta’s goal in the first half was disallowed for offside, which added to the 13 minutes of stoppage time. The assistant referee rightly determined that the ball did not break to the forward off Jayden Bogle’s boot.
But as long as he leads his team to victory, Sherwood says the manager is always correct. “West Ham almost got away with it because they sat back, Leeds, in the second half,” he stated.
In my opinion, they made a huge mistake in the second half. I truly did, but if you win, you’re right as a manager. In the second half, Leeds United’s paucity of bench options was evident.
Noah Okafor’s return to the starting lineup gave Leeds a much-needed lift before the match, expanding Farke’s attacking options.
Nevertheless, Farke had few alternatives for rejuvenating his team in the last moments of the match due to the unscheduled absence of Gabriel Gudmundsson and Okafor.
Both the tireless Aaronson and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who had voluntarily led the line alone, looked worn out when they were finally replaced.
Fortunately for Farke, his defense held strong to end the match. Had they not done so, the mood at Elland Road might have become sour.
