Exclusive: Daniel Levy has decided Postecoglou’s fate at Tottenham
At Tottenham, Ange Postecoglou is still under a lot of pressure.
Spurs had just 11 victories and ended 17th in the Premier League, their poorest season in recent memory under the Australian’s leadership.
But his team defeated Manchester United in the Europa League final, so the North London club had to make a difficult choice regarding his future.

Even though the Tottenham Hotspurs won their first trophy in 17 years, Postecoglou is probably going to be fired from his position at the stadium.
Renowned analyst Ian Darke thinks Daniel Levy will decide shortly and might simply be holding off till the excitement subsides.
“Only Daniel Levy knows what the future holds for Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham,” he stated in an exclusive interview with Tottenham News.
“It may be that they are leaving a decent gap because it would look cruel and a bit heartless and spoil the mood if they were to come out within a couple of days of having lifted a European trophy for the first time since 1984, to have kind of fire the guy who won them the trophy.
“They may well still be thinking about it, I would say Postecoglou’s job will be hanging by a thread as we speak.
Postecoglou would be lucky to keep his job
Getting go of a manager who has helped the N17 team win its first trophy since 2008 would be cruel.
But their league performance was dreadful, and if it continues the following season with the added strain of playing in the Champions League, relegation is a very real possibility.
After winning the championship, he also developed a toxic relationship with fans and some well-known athletes, like James Madison, that won’t simply go away.
Levy is perfectly entitled to fire the Australian if he believes there are better candidates out there who can help Tottenham achieve more success and move closer to the Premier League title, which is what they should be aiming for.
A change could be made because the North London team ought to be vying for the greatest honours, but at the moment, that is not the case.
