‘Shouldn’t be at Leeds’ – Sherwood reacts to what he saw player do in Leeds win v Stoke

Leeds player shouldn’t be at Elland Road after what he did v Stoke – Tim Sherwood

Leeds United put on an amazing display at Elland Road against Stoke City, with several players stealing the show.

The Whites were under a lot of pressure heading into this match as they look to return to the Premier League, but Daniel Farke’s men more than matched the challenge.

The Yorkshire giants outclassed their opponents and led by five goals at the interval after a strong first half effort.

Joel Piroe’s four goals in 41 minutes showed that Leeds is more than ready for the Premier League, and Junior Firpo added to the first-half goals.

Wilfried Gnonto finished the performance and ensured Leeds won the game in spectacular manner with their sixth goal in the second half.

However, another athlete stood out due to the quality he provided throughout his performance.

Sherwood blown away by Tottenham loanee Manor Solomon

In what turned out to be a straightforward and comfortable win, Farke’s team put up an outstanding performance, with each member displaying their individual talents.

However, former Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood felt that Manor Solomon was the player who most stood out.

With his skills, the 25-year-old dominated on the left flank and managed to pick up two assists during his outing.

He was so good at his job that Sherwood wondered if he should be at Elland Road at all.

He said on Sky Sports News (21 April): “What a delivery from Manor Solomon. What a player he is. He shouldn’t be at Leeds.”

Leeds fans want Solomon to stay

Manor Solomon’s future is uncertain

Given that he is only in Yorkshire on a loan from Spurs through the end of the season, there is a significant chance Solomon won’t play for Leeds again the following season.

Many Leeds supporters are expecting that Solomon will sign a permanent contract in the summer because he has settled in well and has produced excellent attacking displays.

The Whites will want to bolster their team as much as possible to make sure they can compete and stay in the Premier League in the future.

If Leeds are successful in gaining promotion, Solomon, a winger who fits that description, is reportedly interested in making the transfer permanent.

Leeds may find it more difficult to make the transfer away if Spurs decide to hire a new manager, even though the Israel international wants to play in the top division of English football.
