Cristian Romero, the captain for the day and defender for Tottenham Hotspur, has been called “disgraceful” as he was seen heading straight down the tunnel upon the sound of the final whistle against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday.

As the pressure mounted on manager Ange Postecoglou, Spurs lost 4-2 at Molineux to a team lower in the table, their 17th Premier League loss of the season.

According to GIVEMESPORT sources last month, Tottenham is not ruling out the prospect of selling the Argentina international this summer amid interest from Atletico Madrid, one of La Liga’s biggest clubs.

The 26-year-old’s departure was formerly thought to require Spurs to pay £60 million, but the club has since changed their mind and may be willing to accept £45 million for the South American this summer.
