‘My word’: David Prutton makes his Luton Town vs Leeds United prediction

With Burnley tied for first place with 81 points and undefeated since November 3, Leeds is now the team in the weakest form among the three contending for the top two. Leeds has changed significantly and is in dire need of a victory.

Karl Darlow will replace Illan Meslier, as Daniel Farke has announced. Other changes are anticipated as well, as Junior Firpo and Ao Tanaka advocate for them. Willy Gnonto will start, according to Graham Smyth.

David Prutton makes prediction as Leeds take on Luton away

Leeds’ noon curse will also need to be addressed. On Saturday, Burnley will go to Coventry at 12.30 PM, Sheffield United will play Oxford, and the Whites will play Luton at 12.30 PM.

Following Sam Parkin’s prediction that all three teams would win, former Leeds player David Prutton told Sky Sports that Leeds would win but that Farke’s team would only win by a slim margin of 2-1 away in Bedfordshire.

“They had a little luck at Hull, and Luton has lost ten of their last five games.” It must be a victory for both. Before the weekend, Prutton declared, “I’m going to go to Leeds to tough it out, Luton 1-2 Leeds.”

David Prutton comments on Illan Meslier situation

Prior to Farke announcing that Leeds will bench Meslier and start Wales’ number one Darlow in Saturday’s match, Prutton talked about his empathy for Meslier and how difficult goalkeeping is.

It’s a team game for Leeds, I promise, but it gets really difficult when the goalie makes mistakes. He has generally performed well for Leeds, so not many would go in and say, “Take me out of the team,” he remarked.

“Its disastrous outcomes are the thing that doesn’t help. You’d do well to score immediately away if I lost my game while playing wide right. A goalie has nowhere to hide. You must have sympathy for him.

Farke stated that there are no injuries, so Leeds are healthy. However, if Leeds win, he will be doing something for the first time in his career. Farke has lost both of his away games against Luton.
