Danish press reacts as Leeds loanee Rasmus Kristensen shines yet again
Although he is almost ready to leave the Whites, the 27-year-old is still technically owned by Leeds.
He left Elland Road to sign a loan with German team Eintracht Frankfurt, and he has expressed a wish to remain with Robin Koch’s team after his loan ends.
According to Florian Plettenberg, a writer, Kristensen’s move to Frankfurt is all but guaranteed. He’s about to relocate permanently from Leeds.
He was never going to return to Leeds after failing to make an impression there. Frankfurt had an £8–10 million purchase option, but following much haggling, a deal has now been reached for around £4 million.
Of all the Leeds United players in March, Rasmus Kristensen has relished the international break the most.
He has emerged as one of Frankfurt’s most important players, and Leeds has decided that it would benefit both sides if he joined them on a permanent basis.

Other Leeds players made an impression over the international break, aside from Kristensen, who is now 99 percent a Frankfurt player.

However, Leeds supporters will be concerned about Wilfried Gnonto’s injury sustained while playing for Italy. Now, he’s going back to Elland Road for more testing.
