WHO ARE THE INJURED SPRINGBOK PLAYERS?

The World Cup star is currently back with his teammates in Pretoria, where he will receive medical supervision from the Bok medical staff as he recovers. The speedster had a knee ailment during the Japanese club season. On Sunday, he saw the Springbok medical team, and on Monday, he was allowed to go see a specialist. On Wednesday afternoon, Kolbe came back to the camp to continue his rehabilitation regimen. It is hoped that he could be available for selection for the Incoming Tour’s first Test match against Ireland, but it is unclear if everything will go as planned.

The Springboks will play two Test matches against Ireland before focusing on the Rugby Championship. They will play Australia in Brisbane and Perth on August 10 and 17, followed by two weekends in South Africa on August 31 and September 7, against their bitter rivals, New Zealand. Then, on September 21 in Santiago and September 28 in Nelspruit, they will embark on a brief journey to Argentina to play the Pumas. The customary year-end tour, which includes Test matches against England in London on November 16 and Wales in Cardiff on November 23, will take place after this. Scotland’s match is scheduled for November 10 in Edinburgh.
