Ilia Gruev’s deft free kick fooled Angus Gunn and slid in at the near post to give the Yorkshire team the lead after just seven minutes. Never having scored for the Whites before, Gruev stood over the dead ball in a crossing position but chose to shoot instead, taking his opponents by surprise.
