Watch: Poor from Bissouma as Tottenham concede early yet again

In less than three minutes, Luton took the lead after Tottenham once again conceded first.

Townsend launches a reckless run down the right side, eluding Bissouma with ease, as a poor ball from Kulusevski causes a Spurs attack to collapse.

After that, he cuts the ball back to Barkley, who squares up to Chong. The striker then fires a low shot that travels across the goal and lands in the bottom-right corner!

On Saturday, March 30, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host the Hatters.

Following their 3-0 thrashing at Craven Cottage by Fulham on March 16 ahead of the international break, Ange Postecoglou will be desperate for his team to respond.

Van van de Ven was noticeably missing from the team’s arrival prior to their match against Luton, as evidenced by a video uploaded to the club’s official X account on March 30.

Van de Ven’s pass completion percentage (95.3 percent per 90) in England’s top flight this season places him in the 98th percentile of positional peers, according to fbref.

He has demonstrated his ability to play in Postecoglou’s high-line by ranking in the 91st percentile for the number of tackles made in the attacking third (0.18 per 90) and the 93rd percentile for the number of successful take-ons (18.65 per 90). His skill with the ball is frightening.
