‘Terrific’… BBC pundit heaps praise on Leeds United man after showing ‘brilliant composure’
Rob Page’s team defeated Glen Kamara’s Finland 4-1 to claim the bragging rights in Leeds United’s player competition on the international scene on Thursday night.
Wales’ challenge in their pursuit for a spot at Euro 2024 this summer is to host Kamara and Finland in a match that has been in the works for some time. However, it was always going to happen on Thursday.
After three minutes, David Brooks scored the first goal for his nation, giving Wales the perfect start. Neco Williams scored the second goal and Harry Wilson set up the first as Wales went on to win easily.
After Teemu Pukki had pulled one back, Brooks set up Brennan Johnson for his third Wales goal at number three. Dan James, one of Leeds’ four players, is unfortunate not to have received a starting position.
