Absolutely remarkable!, Richard Keys thinks he knows where Leeds United will finish in the Championship table this season

Richard Keys has rendered an opinion on Leeds United’s prospects of securing an automatic promotion to the Premier League at the conclusion of the current campaign.

On Friday night in the Championship, Leeds defeated Leicester City at Elland Road.

What has Richard Keys stated with regards to Leeds United, then? Come with me as we examine.

Richard Keys’ remarks against Leeds United

At Elland Road, Leeds United defeated Leicester City 3-1 on Friday night in the Championship.

In front of their supporters, Daniel Farke’s team had to overcome a goal behind to win all three points.

Connor Roberts, Archie Grey, and Patrick Bamford scored the goals for Leeds. All of the goals were scored after the eighty-first minute.

Now, Leeds is ranked second in the Championship standings. With 34 games played, the Whites have 72 points.

With 34 games played, Leicester leads with 78 points, followed by Ipswich Town, who are tied for third place with Leeds in terms of points. With 67 points, Southampton is in fourth place.

According to Richard Keys, the anchor of beIN SPORT and a former Sky Sports broadcaster, Leicester and Leeds will finish in the top two of the Championship table this season and get automatic promotion to the Premier League.

As reported by MOTLeedsNews, co-host Andy Grey stated, “The top two are going to be the top two, aren’t they?” in response to a question Keys posed to him on beIN Sports [24 February, 5:25 pm]. Should Southampton supporters be concerned?

They’ll have to settle for a play-off spot and figure something out, Grey retorted.

My View: Leeds United fans should be optimistic

The team’s chances of gaining automatic promotion to the Premier League should excite Leeds United supporters, in my opinion.

Under Daniel Farke’s leadership, Leeds are winning. Nine of the previous 10 Championship games have been won by the White team.

It will mean a great deal for Leeds to defeat Leicester, who have perhaps the strongest team in the division and the best roster in the league.
