Journalist claims these are the 4 managers on West Ham’s shortlist
Various elements of the football press have published claims and counterclaims.
It was also said that a shortlist of potential managers to replace Moyes had been compiled by the West Ham administration.
A journalist now claims to have revealed the identities of the four managers West Ham has shortlisted to succeed Moyes.
Sami Mokbel of The Daily Mail asserts that West Ham has “started process of sounding out candidates to replace Moyes.”
According to current reports, the list includes Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter, Steve Cooper, and Julien Lopetegui.
Three out of work, one soon to be
Of those males, the first three are unemployed at the moment. And by the conclusion of the season, Tuchel is expected to be fired by Bayern Munich.
“It seems unlikely Tuchel would return to London with West Ham,” asserts Mokbel.
However, it has been stated elsewhere that Tim Steidten, the technical director of the Hammers and a friend of his countryman, would be “confident” in enticing Tuchel to the London Stadium.
According to Mokbel, “Grant Potter, Steve Cooper, and Julien Lopetegui are among the candidates believed to be interesting West Ham.”
‘Appears unlikely…’
Oliver Glasner, the head coach of Eintracht Frankfurt, was recently appointed to Crystal Palace, however it is claimed that he is admired by key figures at the club.
Thomas Tuchel, the head coach of Bayern Munich, has long piqued the interest of the club. However, it seems unlikely that he would entertain a return to London with West Ham. Tuchel is currently facing pressure at the Bundesliga giants.
According to reports, Moyes was given four games by West Ham last week to preserve his future with the team.
But the first one ended in a 2-0 loss against Nottingham Forest, when there was a chance for a far bigger margin.
