Spurs eyeing summer move for attacker with 14 goals & 24 assists; club will allow him to leave

Tottenham has already begun to select possible additions for the forthcoming summer transfer window.

The trustworthy Spurs insider Paul O Keefe has revealed that the team will prefer signing a winger in the forthcoming transfer window above a centre forward.

Additionally, Pedro Neto of Wolves and Raphinha of Barcelona are two wide forwards who have been linked to moves.

The Times journalist Gary Jacob has confirmed that Spurs are interested in the 23-year-old Portuguese winger Neto.

The article claims that Tottenham has been keeping a close eye on Neto’s performances in preparation for a potential summer transfer window move.

Additionally, Jacob says that if a sizable offer in the neighbourhood of £60 million is made for Neto at the end of the season, Wolves might be willing to receive proposals.

Rules pertaining to Financial Fair Play may force Wolves to consider these offers, which might result in Neto leaving the team.

With two goals and nine assists in 16 Premier League games this season, the 23-year-old has been a standout performer for Wolves, bringing his total in 130 appearances across all competitions to 14 goals and 24 assists.

The player also made sure to dazzle the Tottenham supporters yesterday by providing a brilliant assist for Joao Gomes’ game-winning goal against them.

Tottenham expert names player who is ‘attracting some attention’; scouts are blown away by him

Ashley Phillips, a young player on loan from Tottenham, has been thriving at his new team.

Last month, the young centre back signed a loan deal with Plymouth Argyle of the Championship, committing to stay with the team for the duration of the campaign.

Since his arrival, Phillips has played in eight FA Cup games and the English second division, fitting well into Plymouth’s starting lineup.

The defender’s outstanding start at Plymouth Argyle has been praised by Spurs expert John Wenham, who expressed his appreciation for Phillips’s efforts, which are starting to “attract some attention.”

Wenham compared Phillips to Chelsea’s budding star defender Levi Colwill in an interview with Tottenham News, pointing out how both players have thrived during their respective loan stints.

He stated:

“Phillips is getting rave reviews week in and week out. He has got all the attributes to be a top centre-back, and he is already demonstrating that in the Championship.

“People in scouting roles who have been watching him play are praising him to the moon, so I am really pleased about that.

“I think the next step for Phillips is a Premier League loan next season because he has developed far quicker than I thought he would.

“We could be looking at our very own Levi Colwill, where we have a young defender out on loan excelling in the Premier League.”

Ashley Phillips was signed by Spurs for a five-year deal in the summer after being signed by Blackburn for a mere £2 million.

Following Romero and Micky van de Ven’s injuries early in the season, the 18-year-old came dangerously close to playing football for the first team. Ange was supposed to give him a chance, but the boy unluckily sustained an injury of his own.

Phillips’s performances at such a young age suggest that he is a promising defender in the making.

As part of his development next season, he’ll probably be loaned to another Premier League team before settling in with the Tottenham squad.
