Harry Kane hints at major Tottenham regret with ‘team trophies’ comment at Bayern

It seems that Harry Kane is still upset that Tottenham Hotspur did not win any championships while he was a player.

After Harry Kane left for Bayern Munich, many people predicted that Tottenham Hotspur would struggle mightily. But that’s not at all been the case. The club has gained significant momentum since Ange Postecoglou took over.

Furthermore, everyone is already looking forward to the future because to the young talent that the Australian-Greek star has stocked his squad with. Harry Kane does, however, appear to still harbor regrets regarding his tenure there.

It seems Harry Kane still has regrets about the lack of trophies during his time with Tottenham Hotspur.

He will be remembered as a legend of the team, but regrettably, since he didn’t take home any trophies during his tenure, he won’t rank very high on that list. For a considerable amount of time, he was the finest striker in the Premier League, yet he was unable to inspire his club to victory. Throughout his 430 Spurs games, Kane tallied 278 goals and 64 assists.

Here are Kane’s remarks from his interview with BBC.

“I’ve made it clear that I want to be winning team trophies and that’s one of the things that’s missing from my career so far.”

Harry Kane obviously wishes he could have left Tottenham with at least one trophy at the end of his career. It doesn’t appear to have much of an impact on the player anymore, though, as he reiterated his earlier assertion that he is more focused on his game.

Tottenham is having difficulty acquiring the dynamic defensive standout of the Bundesliga.

If he just keeps doing well, Kane is confident that trophies will find their way to him. With regard to his tenure at Bayern Munich, this may be the case. The English forward is past thirty, yet he hasn’t slowed down at all.
