Ex-NDDC Director Cairo Ojougboh Dies Watching AFCON Game

Cairo Ojougboh, the former Executive Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), passed away.
He slumped at his Abuja office while watching the Africa Cup of Nations semi-final play between Nigeria and South Africa on Wednesday, according to a family source who verified his death to Channels Television.
President Bola Tinubu has sent a condolence message to the family of the former NDDC Executive Director.
In a statement released through his media assistant, Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu consoled his family and urged them to find strength and hope in God Almighty, who is in charge of all human affairs, as well as in the treasured memories and legacy of the late APC leader, all the while praying for the deceased’s peaceful repose.
Ojougboh led the Delta State branch of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and served as a representative in the House of Representatives from 2003 to 2007.
