Alan Brazil mocks Leeds United after Chelsea development in FA Cup

When he revealed his early prediction for Leeds United’s FA Cup match versus Chelsea, Alan Brazil appeared to be making fun of the team’s song, Marching on Together.

Chelsea’s spectacular comeback from the turmoil that has clouded the club came on Wednesday, February 7, when they easily defeated Aston Villa in their FA Cup fourth-round rematch at Villa Park.

Mauricio Pochettino’s team will now play Daniel Farke’s Leeds United at Stamford Bridge on February 28. Leeds United defeated Plymouth 4-1 in extra time on February 6 to guarantee their spot in the tournament.

Additionally, Brazil appeared to be taking a subtle jab at the Whites when he shared his early prediction prior to the game live on talkSPORT on February 8 at 8:09 am.

He said: “By the way, they’ve got Leeds United in the next round who are flying, but Chelsea are at home so there’s every chance they could be the ones marching on.”

Pochettino must beware of the threat Leeds United pose

Brazil should not be too optimistic about Chelsea winning at Stamford Bridge considering the threat Farke’s team poses. His sly remark live on television will undoubtedly have infuriated the Leeds United supporters.

The Whites, who are attempting to secure an automatic promotion back to the Premier League, have been outstanding under the German coach this season and are undoubtedly one of the most interesting teams in the Championship.

The Leeds United supporters would also be hoping for a fantastic FA Cup run in addition to their Championship goals, and a victory over the Blues at Stamford Bridge would go a great way towards realising that goal.

Despite both teams’ current standings in the English football pyramid, Chelsea has been a complete mess in the Premier League this season and cannot be considered favourites.

From a historical perspective, one could argue that the Whites are still very much as big as Chelsea.

With their arsenal of fantastic attacking weapons, Leeds United has the potential to seriously affect Pochettino’s team.

Summerville could cause Chelsea problems at Stamford Bridge

The standout players in Farke’s lineup are Crycensio Summerville, Wilfried Gnonto, Patrick Bamford, Georginio Rutter, and Daniel James, but there are other players who might start a riot in West London, so Brazil’s clever jab at Leeds United might come back to haunt him and Chelsea.
