Giovani Lo Celso wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur, according to a report from Yeneri Asir on Tuesday, and Galatasaray has moved to sign him before the transfer window closes.

The Turkish winter market ends on Friday, and Akşam has updated us on the Istanbul club’s last-ditch effort to sign the 27-year-old.

In 12 games this season for Tottenham, he has played 514 minutes, scoring two goals and providing two assists.

Galatasaray is preparing a fresh offensive for Lo Celso before the window closes. Last summer, they negotiated for both Davinson Sanchez and Tanguy Ndombele with the Spurs.

According to reports, Tottenham and Galatasaray are still in talks to sign the Argentina international. The midfield player is “positive” about joining the Turkish team and is “preparing to say goodbye” to Ange Postecoglou’s squad.

This season, Lo Celso hasn’t received much playing time, in part because of injuries. It’s the second setback of the season for him since he has been out for a month due to a muscular ailment.

Akşam claims that Tottenham is prepared to let go of the South American, and he is looking to sign with a team where he would have regular playing time. The player may arrive in Istanbul shortly if Galatasaray and Spurs reach an agreement.
