£22m Tottenham player spotted in tears last night, looking heartbroken

Son appeared to be really distressed in a video that was posted on X, and it showed him walking to his terminal.

Naturally, Tottenham supporters will be hoping that in the upcoming weeks, a top-four finish and maybe even a title challenge will lift Son’s spirits.

It’s probable that Son may be involved in some way in this weekend’s match against Brighton & Hove Albion.

It appears much more likely, though, that the son will make his club debut in the following game against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Tottenham’s Son Heung-min left devastated by South Korea exit as he returns to London

Naturally, Spurs have handled things better than anticipated during Son’s absence.Although it’s difficult to hold his forward line accountable, Ange Postecoglou will have been frustrated not to win all three points at Goodison Park last weekend.

Recently, Richarlison has been outstanding; he is a player who has at last regained his confidence.

The Brazilian’s form at Everton really astounded Alan Shearer, who especially liked his long-range finish.

Spurs will aim to prevent Guglielmo Vicario’s recent struggles with set-piece pressure from becoming a regular occurrence.

To be fair, though, goalkeeping authorities have since defended the goalkeeper’s strategy.

In any case, Son’s arrival back to Tottenham will be well appreciated, even though it will regretfully come at South Korea’s expense this time.

However, with their £22 million skipper rejoining the team and James Maddison and Micky van de Ven both healthy and productive, this Postecoglou squad will be the most assembled yet.

It also appears that a different, well-known figure in the vicinity of Hotspur Way might be prepared to make a significant comeback.

‘He’s not the tallest’… Pundit says £17 million Tottenham player was targeted on Saturday because of his height

This past weekend, Tottenham and Everton drew. Unsurprisingly, Everton attempted to defeat Spurs with a flurry of set pieces.

When it comes to the Toffees, both of their goals have come from dead-ball situations, and Guglielmo Vicario wasn’t playing at his best today.

It is true that the Italians had difficulty with these supplies all day, and Don Hutchison, who spoke on Premier League Productions, described some of the problems the Italians were having.

According to the pundit, Sean Dyche intentionally targeted Vicario against Everton because of his small stature between the sticks, which the Italian would have attempted to take advantage of.

Guglielmo Vicario’s lack of height exploited

Hutchison offered his thoughts on the game this coming weekend and the £17 million guy.

“Neither for me, I’ve heard terms like pushing or manhandling; he just leans in towards Vicario. Vicario needs to be stronger, or he needs to put a defender in between him and himself. He’s not the tallest, so it’s obviously a ploy, so why not attempt to take advantage of that?” stated Hutchison.

Seriously?

Vicario didn’t perform well enough between the sticks over the weekend, but we don’t think that his short stature was a factor.Vicario is listed as standing 6 feet, 4 inches tall on the Premier League website, so he’s not exactly a short goalie.

The fundamental issue here was that he lacked sufficient strength and command. He didn’t act authoritatively when claiming these balls, but if he had, it wouldn’t have been a problem. Besides, at his height, it’s hard to take advantage of someone of his stature.

Vicario has been fantastic all season, but there are a few cracks beginning to show in terms of how he deals with set plays.

Tottenham need to figure this out, or else this weakness will continue to be exploited
