Report: Tottenham table £60m bid for player that left Leeds while Jesse Marsch was in charge

Kalvin Phillips has not had much success since leaving Leeds, and although Raphinha has demonstrated a lot of promise on the field, Barcelona supporters have frequently criticised the Brazilian.A part of the reason for Bournemouth’s goal in a 1-1 draw and the player who lost control for the third goal in Manchester United’s 3-0 victory was Phillips, who has had a miserable start to his loan career at West Ham.

Following difficulties getting into the Manchester City lineup, it follows. When Jesse Marsch took over the club for the first summer, Raphinha is a different story, since both stars were sold there. It’s estimated that he paid £55 million to join Barcelona.

Since then, he has contributed to 33 goals in 70 games. Considering that he called his move to Barcelona a “dream come true,” it was a good attempt. However, he has frequently been criticised, leaving some supporters perplexed in 2022–2023.

Through 20 games this season, he has 11 goals and 11 assists. However, it has always been thought that in order to allay worries about Financial Fairplay, Barcelona will need to profit from Raphinha. SPORT covers this in their most recent article.

Tottenham table £60m bid for Raphinha after 2022 Leeds exit

They say that Liverpool is interested in Raphinha and that they are searching for a long-term Mo Salah successor. It appears that Salah won’t be far behind after Jurgen Klopp made his departure public.

What was shocking about the claim, though, was that Ange Postecoglou’s team had already put in an offer for Raphinha. £60 million worth of business. A move that would work for Raphinha.

His finest play was in England, when he was able to play in an offensive lineup with Richarlison and Emerson Royal, two of his teammates from Brazil. If Barca decides to sell, it would be in his best interest. Maybe he’s headed home.

Report: Leeds United not renewing contract for 24 year old whose contract expire in the summer

The Leeds boss acknowledged that they were “reluctant” to offer Poveda a new contract, but the signs are clearly in the writing given his recent form, his lack of playing time, and his desire to join Sheffield Wednesday.

Poveda expressed his joy at leaving the team the previous week, but he also acknowledged that, as this is merely a loan move to South Yorkshire, he will now need to demonstrate his worth in order to secure a long-term deal.

That being said, regardless of the division Leeds is in this summer, it seems like there may be a change of leadership at the club.
