“It doesn’t seem like Reguilon has a long-term future at Tottenham under Ange, especially after returning from Manchester United, where it obviously didn’t work out for him.
“Sessegnon’s inability to play football for the first team would be his issue. If United choose to acquire him only because of his dearth of Premier League playing time, I’d be shocked.
“But, one of the reasons we are witnessing such a quiet January transfer season is that everyone is now terrified of FFP and the profit and sustainability law that Everton and Forest were punished with.
“Everyone is afraid of the FFP, but loans could occur, so some people might be surprised by deals like this.”
