Tottenham now ready to agree transfer – Spurs softening which will help January move happen

Bryan Gil has been a target for clubs throughout the most of January, as has been the case with every transfer window since he joined Tottenham.

Lazio is currently one of the teams who have revived their interest in the winger. The Spaniard has been connected to a few teams in Spain as well as Fiorentina in Italy.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Gil was first wanted by Maurizio Sarri’s team in the summer and may be “leaving again” at this time.

According to Ange Postecoglou, the 22-year-old is “out of the plans” at Tottenham. It is thought that the team is now “willing to let him go out on loan,” and they may even allow an option to buy with the deal.

Gil, who the London team originally paid €25 million to acquire, is viewed by them as a “talent waiting for the right opportunity.” However, the investment hasn’t exactly paid off.

Sarri is rumored to “appreciate his technical skills,” and the manager was “convinced” that the Tottenham player might be one of his best going forward.

That notion is still in place today, and as Lazio continues to look for ways to bolster their offensive, perhaps a deal might be reached.

Report: Tottenham keeping close eyes on rapid £75m player who teammate says is a ‘physical beast’

Tottenham still tracking rapid £75m defender despite signing Radu Dragusin

Even though they added Radu Dragusin in the January transfer window, Tottenham Hotspur is closely monitoring Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite.

Under Sean Dyche, one of the highlights of Everton’s show this season has been Branthwaite.

Still, other people have looked at his performances with admiration.

The young player is reportedly of great interest to Arsenal, and reports have also indicated that Tottenham is also interested.

Tottenham keeping up interest in Jarrad Branthwaite

Despite signing Radu Dragusin, a report from the Daily Mail today claims that Tottenham is still interested in Branthwaite.

According to reports, Everton is believed to want roughly £75 million for the defender, and Spurs are reportedly keeping a close eye on Branthwaite in preparation for the summer.

All season long, Branthwaite has shown tremendous promise, and James Tarkowski, his defensive teammate, has only been more complimentary of him.

“He is a beast on the body. Because he moves so quickly, I feel confident that I can leave him one on one in the channel. He may be our fastest player, in my opinion. People try to push him too far. I believe Antonio tried to push him too far, and we all know Antonio is a monster. Jarrad simply dealt with Antonio to the point where I said, “Fair enough, I’ll let you handle it,” Tarkowski said to Fozcast.

Branthwaite, who made an impression at the under-21 level, is also a remote candidate to join the England team for the Euros this summer.

A star in the making

Jarrad Branthwaite appears to be a legitimate talent whose future is with one of the best teams, much like many who have come before him.

It wouldn’t be shocking if Branthwaite had a similar career route as John Stones, who began his development at Everton before moving on to Manchester City.

There aren’t many better young defenders in Europe right now, so Branthwaite will be in high demand.

He would provide Tottenham with incredible depth at the back in Romero, Van de Ven, and Dragusin.

It’s unclear if they’ll also pay the required charge. But Branthwaite is a star in the making and will be well worth the money in the long run.
