Tottenham could yet sign Serie A midfielder as Conor Gallagher alternative
In recent days, Ederson’s name has been associated with a move to England as several clubs search Serie A for reinforcements.
According to reports, the Atalanta star is a fan favourite of Newcastle, and Tottenham is also said to be interested.

Tottenham not ruled out of signing Ederson
Jones provided the following update when discussing his knowledge of Tottenham’s connections to Ederson.
“I find it difficult to see Ederson as a Gallagher substitute because, from what I’ve been told, he lacks the same energy and is not the stylistic fit of a No. 8 that Gallagher would be in this Spurs team. It’s also unclear how quickly Ederson would adjust to Premier League life.” Of course, given that we know Paratici is still consulting, it’s possible that Paratici has suggested him. Due to that, I can’t completely rule him out as a target,” Jones remarked.
Talks are about to move into a critical phase as Tottenham is now seeking to sign a £25 million winger “as soon as possible.”

Ederson, who Sky’s Tim Vickery called a “strong and box-to-box” midfielder, would undoubtedly boost Spurs’ current depth and calibre of play.
Additionally, it’s said that Antonio Nusa from Club Brugge is being courted by Spurs.
