Exclusive: “I expect” – Plan is clear for 18-year-old Tottenham target with talks continuing

One of the business clubs in the current transfer window has been Tottenham Hotspur.

Radu Dragusin, a rising talent, was hired after RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner was unexpectedly signed.

There have been rumors recently circulating that the North Londoners are now pursuing Antonio Nusa, a highly regarded young player.

The Norwegian, who is only eighteen years old, is a professional football player for Club Brugge in the Belgian Pro League.

The player is already well-known for his admiration of space, lightning-fast feet, and electric acceleration despite having relatively little experience.

All characteristics that fit in perfectly with an Ange Postecoglou team.

To what extent, though, is the team close to signing the player?

In his exclusive Daily Briefing for CaughtOffside, Fabricio Romano stated, “I expect Tottenham to push for Antonio Nusa in the coming days, as talks are taking place and will continue.”

It is evident from the player’s statements that he intends to play out the season at Brugge and might go in the summer.

“Let me be clear, guys: nothing is done with Spurs, so other clubs are still able to compete.”

That does give other interested parties the chance to bid for his services, as nothing has been signed and sealed as of yet.

Postecoglou will undoubtedly be optimistic that Spurs will be in the greatest position to guarantee he arrives at White Hart Lane rather than any other location if he expresses his interest early.

It seems perfect sense that the team will target Nusa given how thrilling to watch the Australian squad is right now.

If the player believes that making such a transfer is in his best interests, only time will tell.

In related developments:

Ange Postecoglou, who may soon have his pick of youth talent, will only benefit from Tottenham Under-18s’ excellent season.

Many players from Spurs’ Under-21 team have been called up to the first team squads this season or sent out on loan since they are performing so well. They are currently leading Premier League 2 with a perfect record.

Spurs may be in for a number of great academy graduates to come through their ranks over the coming several years, since the Under-18s beneath the Under-21s are also performing exceptionally well.

With a solid individual performance, Hall maintained his good form in midfield and gave the visitors a well-earned lead at the break.

Lehane opened his account on the scoreboard with just 65 seconds remaining in the second half, sweeping home Damola Ajayi’s ball into the area at the back post.

Burton did respond and appeared to have an equalizer, but Oliver Irow ended the match and added a third in stoppage time to guarantee Tottenham’s passage into the elite 16 of the renowned national youth league.

Lehane hopes to carry on shining in the upcoming round of this competition, which provides a stage for up-and-coming talent.

In addition to starting and playing the full 90 minutes in both of the FA Youth Cup matches, the striker has started seven of the team’s twelve Under-18 Premier League South games, tallying five goals and dishing out one assist.

Lehane is a player who supporters should keep an eye on as he develops because he has lots of time left before turning eighteen in October.
