West Ham prepared to make a huge loss on Pablo Fornals
Today, AS gave us an update regarding Fornals’ future.
According to the Spanish media outlet, the Hammers could get as little as €5 million (£4 million) this winter for the midfield player.
Compared to the £20 million we paid for Fornals over five years ago, it would be a huge loss.
Despite this, I continue to believe that West Ham will make the right choice in letting him go. He is a complete shadow of the person he once was because of how much he has regressed over the past year or two.
The Hammers have already triggered a 12-month extension in the Spaniard’s contract, so if we don’t sell him soon, we’ll probably ended up releasing him on a free transfer.
Pablo Fornals has brought absolutely nothing to the table over the past 12–18 months, and Moyes needs to move him on as a matter of urgency as far as I’m concerned.
Quite where he ends up remains to be seen, but I’m convinced that he won’t be at the London Stadium beyond the end of the current January transfer window
