Tottenham close to signing £25m attacker likened to Neymar
Antonio Nusa, a standout player for Club Brugge, is reportedly nearing a deal with Tottenham Hotspur, meaning the team is about to make yet another acquisition.
As one of the most attractive young players in Europe right now, Nusa has previously drawn interest from English clubs.
The underage player was reportedly scouted by Arsenal in the past, and Nusa was linked to Chelsea during the summer transfer window.
Nusa appears to be headed to Tottenham, though, based on HLS.
Tottenham close to signing Antonio Nusa
The article claims Tottenham and Brugge are close to agreeing on a contract that will pay upwards of £25 million.
Nusa will stay with Brugge until the end of the season as part of the agreement, after which he will move to north London in the summer.
Despite missing the remaining games due to a back injury, 18-year-old Nusa has been a standout in Belgium in recent months and has made 26 appearances for Brugge total. Because of how highly regarded he is, he has already earned four caps for Norway.
The youthful athlete, who is regarded as one of the continent’s most promising young prospects, has even prompted parallels to Brazilian sensation Neymar.
Mats Solheim, a former teammate, remarked, “I can see similarities to Neymar in Nusa’s movements and in the way he uses the ball.”
It appears like Tottenham may be acquiring some serious talent.
Nusa an exciting Spurs signing
While the signing of Antonio Nusa is a great signal to the future, the arrivals of Radu Dragusin and Timo Werner in this current window are very much for the here and now.
If the claims are accurate, Spurs are beating out a number of elite teams to sign Nusa in this deal.
For Tottenham and Ange Postecoglou, it’s all about enhancing the team and ensuring that everything is set up for them to compete at their highest level come next season.
Despite his youth, Nusa has a lot of talent and will eventually be able to help Spurs.
Nusa is one of the most exciting additions Tottenham fans can currently be excited about, along with the best player they could have signed from Europe.
