With Destiny Udogie stepping over, Davies is no longer Spurs’ starting left-back. Leeds is now interested in the Welsh defender and may be able to guarantee him playing time each and every week. The fact that Davies can play multiple roles makes him an excellent addition to Leeds. With 222 Tottenham matches under his belt, the Welsh international is a flexible choice because he can play left wing-back, left center-back, and left back. Farke’s team would greatly benefit from it, as they currently lack in a number of areas.
But, Postecoglou is probably going to want to hang onto a player with his experience at number 33, so the Whites could have to hunt elsewhere for a new full-back. Given the recent penalties that Nottingham Forest, a Premier League team, is facing, a transaction including Williams might be completed quickly.
