Leeds United stance shared as Millwall make January transfer offer for Charlie Cresswell
Beren Cross reports that several clubs have made proposals for Charlie Cresswell, who is now with Leeds United.
The LeedsLive reporter said that a permanent departure seemed likely in an update posted on his personal Twitter account on Tuesday, January 16.
According to reports, Cresswell, who has failed to get playing time under Daniel Farke, has had an offer from a number of clubs, including Millwall.
According to the source, Cresswell’s departure may potentially “ignite a flurry of essential business for Leeds” in the latter part of the window.

The fact that Cresswell has started just one league game this season is evidence that he has no future at Elland Road under Farke’s leadership.
In Saturday’s (January 13) 3-0 victory against Cardiff City, the defender was once again completely left out of the starting lineup.
Although it’s being reported that no offer has come close to what Leeds is holding out for, other teams are reportedly interested in Cresswell.
However, it is not within the Whites’ financial means to forfeit a charge while simultaneously harbouring an unsatisfied player.
Apart from that, it is also unfair to Cresswell that this is stunting his career when he could be playing frequently somewhere else.
The intention is that the funds will be immediately reinvested in the team in the event that a deal is achieved with another team.
In light of Djed Spence’s loan arrangement being terminated, a full-back needs to be prioritised before the window shuts.
In any event, this update indicates that within the following two weeks, Elland Road will likely see some additional entering and leaving business.

“I have always tried to play for the badge and what that meant to the fans and the history and traditions of your football club. Also knowing the money you paid to come and watch, the least you deserved was a minimum of hard work and I hope I showed you that.
