Calvin Ramsay, a twenty-year-old Scotland international right back, signed a season-long loan from Liverpool last summer, but he has only played in two games for Ryan Lowe’s team. Preston North End will be the Elland Road visitors this coming weekend.
After missing two months due to a fresh knee injury that he sustained shortly after joining the Lilywhites, the defender was eventually hit by Covid in his first two games for his loan side.
Following a conversation between the two clubs, Liverpool has now called up Ramsay, who has been unable to push his way back into the matchday squad.
Preston’s last eight matchday squads have not included the Liverpool young player.
