The center-back for Leeds United U21, Kris Moore, is back at Thorp Arch after training with Hibernian this month in preparation for a potential loan move.

Given that Daniel Farke needs to maintain the team that is vying for promotion intact for the whole of the season, not many departures are anticipated in the upcoming weeks of January.

Fringe players and junior players may be permitted to go on loan, with Darko Gyabi becoming the first to depart for Plymouth Argyle.

 

 

Kris Moore on Hibernian’s radar

Another loan deal that could be secured this month is that of U21s defender Kris Moore, who has recently been involved in Hibernian’s training camp in Dubai.

Managed by former Leeds man Nick Montgomery, Moore was looking to impress ahead of what would have been his first senior involvement.

Hibs are currently struggling for defenders due to injuries and international commitments this January, with Moore looked at as a potential loan signing.

Montgomery confirms Moore return to Leeds

The Hibs boss has not yet made a choice, but Moore is returning to Thorp Arch with Leeds training now underway. That Dubai training camp has come to an end.

As can be seen below (third picture, right), Moore was snapped on Sunday sporting Hibs training gear:

He claimed to have been “really impressed” with Moore during this training session in an interview with Sky Sports, hinting that a transfer for him is not out of the question:

“It was a case of looking at him (Kanayo Megwa) and Kris Moore, obviously Kanayo is our player, he’s had a really successful loan spell, I think there’s an opportunity to bring him.

“And we spoke to Leeds, and they allowed Kris to come on the trip, right now, I can’t really say what will happen but he’ll go back to Leeds when we return and we’ll see how Kanayo goes.”

Then, despite Adryan having trained with the team, Montgomery said that the former Leeds attacking midfielder will not be joining.
