Leeds United is reportedly interested in acquiring Liverpool winger Fabio Carvalho during the January transfer window, per Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian reporter claimed on X that Leeds is “pushing” to finalise a loan agreement for the 21-year-old, who is also capable of playing as an offensive midfielder.
Carvalho is also a target for Southampton and Hull City, according to Romano. Liverpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers have previously communicated.
According to the well-known and respected writer, Liverpool has to be certain of playing time before they will approve a loan deal for Carvalho to any club.

In the summer of 2023, the Portugal Under-21 international signed a season-long loan agreement with RB Leipzig from Liverpool.
But because Carvalho was not getting enough playing time, the past winners of the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League chose to recall him.

My View: Leeds United could struggle to sign Fabio Carvalho
I think Leeds United will have difficulty negotiating a transfer for Fabio Carvalho with Liverpool.
The winger is wanted by Liverpool to get consistent playing time. He may not receive that at Leeds, who have been connected to Connor Roberts, the right-back for Burnley.
Leeds’ two primary wingers are Daniel James and Crysencio Summerville.Leeds is using Joel Piroe as a playmaker because they are eager to recruit Kieffer Moore, a striker for Bournemouth.
Daniel Farke, the head coach of Leeds, also possesses Jaidon Anthony and Wilfried Gnonto as wide possibilities.
Furthermore, Carvalho is of interest to Wolverhampton Wanderers, as reported by Fabrizio Romano. I believe Liverpool would rather the winger go on loan to a Premier League team than to a team in the other league.

Before he had even made his Whites debut, Leeds United supporters would have preferred to see such an exciting young player lining up in their own first team rather than donning the uniform of another English team, but they have been mostly helpless in this arrangement.
